Dougie's Kids Inc. is a charitable organization that is dedicated to helping and ensuring the well-being of children across America. This organization was formed in January 2011 and is named after my son Bobby Denerio Marshall Brown, whom we call "Dougie" as a nickname. Dougie passed away on October 12, 2010 after being in a motorcycle accident. He was riding his bike on a highway in Alabama, with some members of his bike club. Life has and will never be the same for me or my family--Dougie was such a loving, thoughtful, warm, caring, happy person-- he literally gave people the best that he had to offer, which included the clothes off his back. Dougie adored children and was always supporting them by giving helpful advice, and taking them different places to have fun, as well as showing up to support their games on Saturdays. He is greatly missed and I never want his name and his love for people to be forgotten. I founded Dougie's Kids Inc. on January 1, 2011 to make certain that his name and his spirit would live on.
